CONSULTATIONS
We can arrange consultations for you over the telephone, or you can attend the surgery in person. This can be your personal choice. However, for the safety of other patients and staff we would ask you to make a telephone consultation first if you have symptoms of Covid 19.
There is a charge of €65 for telephone and 'in surgery' consultations for private patients.
If after a telephone consultation your doctor feels you need to be seen in the surgery and examined this will be arranged by appointment. NO ADDITIONAL FEE WILL APPLY.
There is NO CHARGE for Covid-19 related queries regardless of whether you have a medical card or not.
Each consultation in the surgery is 15 minutes in duration. During this consultation we can safely deal with one or two issues. It can take this time to safely manage a particular problem.
We would respectfully ask that if you have more than one or two issues which would like to discuss with your doctor, please let our receptionist know at the time you make the appointment so that an extended consultation can be arranged. This way we can give you the best service, practice good medicine and keep our surgeries running on time.
