WHAT EXPECT IN THE SURGERY
You will notice some changes in the way we operate due to the Coronavirus Pandemic. We would like to reassure you that despite these changes, we will maintain the same high standard of care that you are used to.
These changes are for you safety and for the safety of our staff. We follow strict infection control guidelines. All our staff have been vaccinated. Examination rooms and equipment are cleaned thoroughly after every patient
WHEN YOU ATTEND THE SURGERY FOR AN APPOINTMENT....
We respectfully ask you to attend your appointment alone, as far as possible unless you need a chaperone.
Our waiting room is open but if you would rather wait in your car, please phone us and we will call you when the doctor or nurse is ready to see you.
You will be asked to wear a mask, use hand sanitizer, and maintain social distance from staff and other patients at all times
Doctors and nurses will be wearing masks and sometimes aprons and gloves. It is important to prepare children for this.
Internal doors will be opened for you, or left open to allow you to move freely through them.
If you need a prescription, it will be sent directly your preferred pharmacy. If you need a referral letter it will be sent directly to the referral point of care. Any other paperwork or certificates can be sent electronically.
If you do not have a medical card, we would ask you if possible to pre-pay for your consultation over the phone at the time of booking, use our pay button on the home page of our website or use contactless payment in the surgery.
We ask you to dispose of your mask in the bin provided and re-sanitise your hands as you leave the surgery.
We will do our best to keep our surgeries running on time. We appreciate your patience and co-operation with these measures and are very happy to be able to continue to provide high standard of medical care to you and your families.
