SWAB TESTS FOR COVID 19
If you do not have any symptoms of Covid-19 but would like to be tested for the purposes of travel or other reasons, you can come to the surgery for a Covid-19 swab test. Our nurse or doctor will take a swab which will be sent to a private lab Eurofins Biominis The cost for this service is €150.
BLOOD TEST FOR COVID-19 ANTIBODIES
If you think you may have had Covid-19 in the past and would like to have your antibodies checked for Sars-CoV-2 we can do a blood test in the surgery which will be sent to a private lab Eurofins Biominis. The cost for this service is €80
PLEASE NOTE: the immune response to SARS-CoV-2 infection is not yet well understood. A positive antibody result is not a guarantee of protection against a new infection by SARS-CoV-2, or of prevention of disease transmission to others.
